Field Marshal Kodandera Madappa Cariappa: he was the first Chief of Army Staff in the Indian Army. He led the Indian forces during the Indo-Pakistan War of 1947.
Maneyapanda Somaiya: he represented the country in hockey. He was a member of the Indian team that won the Gold medal at the Olympics in Moscow in 1980.

Nidhi Subbaiah: She is a model turned actress who made her debut in Hindi films recently.
