Vazhakanda Thoran – banana stem
1.Banana Stem – 1 kg
2.Garlic Cloves – 100 Grams
3.Turmeric Powder – 5 Grams
4.Green Chilly Slit – 15 Grams
5.Raw Rice – 100 Grams
6.Coconut Oil – 150 Ml
7.Red Chilly Whole – 2 Grams
1.Peel and cut and wash banana steam in very fine chop and keep aside.
2.Mix grated coconut, jeera, green chilli and turmeric powder – roughly crush and keep aside.
3.In kadai heat oil add garlic cloves, raw rice and chop a small onion and sauté light brown then add banana stem chop and roughly coconut Crush and salt and cook till banana stem well-cooked without adding water.
4.Now add tadka with coconut oil, mustard seeds, broken red chilly, curry leaves and serve hot.
