However, unknown to many, ‘Ubuntu’ is originally borrowed from the South African Nguni languages like Zulu and Xhosa and has no direct translation into English, but is used to describe a particular African worldview. ‘Ubuntu’ generally points to man’s humanity towards the surrounding ecosystem.
